Raila Oginga Odinga.

In the quest to finding the Political Moses, who will redeem the Kenyan Isralites from their bondage of political oblivion, i hope you take a stance to evaluate your stand and direction on matters affecting us Kenyans as a people, and our task of choosing who has a clear intent of being the peoples leader. In so doing i would like to draw your attention to The Article; Kalonzo and Raila differ over party rebels  on the Daily Nation, Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Friends, tell me if i’m wrong, but; Aren’t Kenyans tired of Tribal politics, Aren’t our people in need for a leader who will reconcile and re-unite the nation, please tell me if i’m wrong, but aren’t Kenyans tired of political Dynasty and party suprimacy? Then therefore, how is Africa and Kenya in it self going to realize the so called Kenyan dream, established in 1963, to eradicate hunger, disease and poverty!?

                                                                                                                             Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
The very basic needs of humanity if our leaders refuse to choose to agree on the very basic principals of a so called party! After 44 years post independence shouldn’t we as Kenyans have attained political maturity of having only 3 parties (Ruling party, Opposition and Independent party?) Our people deserve better than who is the next president and from what tribe is he from. My fellow countrymen, what is our stake and what are we doing as Kenyan citizens? Friends we have to act now, so when our time is over and we look back, we’ll say we gave our best short in bringing Democracy, Freedom and Justice to Kenya.

Concerned Citizen of Kenya.

    My fellow Kenyans,

In regard to Walter’s article about finding the
Kenyan Political Moses, I’m sanguine that he/she is
on the way. Developed nations have been riddled with
bad governance before and when they finally find that
Moses they rise from the ashes.
The problem with Kenya as of now is the greed for
power. Instead of leaders coalescing to form a better
party thus a better Govt’ they are fighting each
other. I happened to have been present during the
2005 referendum and the ODM promised that ( hiki chama
hakita sambaratika).”This party will not break” the
very words from Raila just outside Kenyatta
International Conference Center shortly after Mr. Sam
Kivuitu ( Electoral Commission Chairman) announcing
that the Orange prevailed over the Banana. Now we have
these very same leaders pulling each other in the
process of becoming the flag bearer for ODM. Its a
    pity.
With tribalism playing a major role, Its inevitable
that ODM will split. They can blame Kibaki’s Govt’ as
being encumbrance to their efforts but its all about
the tribal blocks. The animus going on in ODM at the
moment is just counterintutive to what many Kenyans
wait to be delivered. But if you sit back and look at
the history of these leaders, They simply don’t know
what they stand for. Kenyans feel pent by politicians
but after all we need them to run a country. As long
as the Kikuyus vote, Kibaki/Uhuru, Luyhas vote,
Kombo/Mudavadi,Kalenjins vote Ruto, The Luo vote,
Raila, Kambas for Ngilu,Musyoka and so on, the very saying
of politics of divide and rule still plays a big role.
No one among the above mentioned leaders can appeal to
Kenyans in general. They are all but capable of
manipulating their own tribes mostly. Thus
marginalization will not work. Unless Kenyans start
voting on issues that affect our society, then we
    cannot realise a prosperous Nation.
By thoroughly educating Kenyans on how to vote will
be more effective than just singing to the tunes of
ODM and carrying Oranges. More especially in the grass
root areas. Voting on the account of being given 2kgs
of sugar, salt or soap. Will not change the crime
rate in the country, sexual violence against women,
    drugs,corruption, procurement acts, health care
issues, education and many other issues that affect the
    common Kenyan.
ODM Kenya started off on a good footing but the
way things are going, it seems everything is not
congruent even if you see them smiling to the cameras.
The hubris of most of these aspiring leaders is not a
good thing and its likely to split the party into the
original parties that number up to over twenty. The
dreams is still there only that someone who can
interpret it well is still to be found. Before it gets
better its going to get ugly and Kenyans need to be
ready for it. Kenyan politics enthralls me i don’t
know about you but just keep an eye out for it but i
hope you don’t let catharsis get to you. Instead get
    up and be about it.

Do you think Vision2030 is foreseeable? or it’s
another one of those? Its your/our country what can we
do to make it a better and more livable nation than it
    is?

In response to Walter’s Message good luck and
    happy voting 2007.
